DISCOVER CHIROPRACTIC

CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic is based on the principle that the human body is capable of healing itself, provided the nervous system is fully functional.

As our brains send signals through the nerves to the rest of our body, a trapped nerve in the back or neck could cause complaints elsewhere.

Chiropractic focuses on finding the cause. By finding blockages or subluxations in the spinal column.

A chiropractor is a specialist when it comes to getting you to wellness.

Chiropractic could help people with, if there is nerve interference. The following conditions and complaints, among other things:

  • Headache (Migraine, stress, etc.)

  • Neckpain(Whiplash, torticollis, etc.)

  • Backache (Scoliosis, hernia, spit, ischia, etc.)

  • Pain in arm, elbow, wrist and hands (Frozen shoulder, RSI, etc.)

  • Children’s diseases, ADHD, Asthma & Allergies.

  • Arthritic conditions (fibromyalgie, osteo arthritis, degenerative joint disease, etc.)

  • Neurological conditions (Epilepsy, MS, Radiculopathy, etc.)

  • Nerve associated organ dysfunction (Digestive, Heart, Lung, Bladder dis-order, etc.)

Chiropractic is different. We look at you as a whole. Chiropractic offers you health care,
that is safe, effective and natural. The result is that you have better resistance and
improved function.

CHIROPRACTIC CARE

There are various chiropractic techniques the chiropractor can use to help a patient. The chiropractor uses his hands to move, in a very  accurate way, the vertebrae back into the correct position and restores the mobility of the spinal column (this isn’t always accompanied by a “cracking” sound). This adjustment will allow restoration of motion to the immobile area, allowing nerve interference to be reduced. The “cracking” or popping sound is a result of pressure that has built up to be released. This pressure release is in the form a gas bubble release, thus there is no bone, ligament or tendon damage. In actual fact the tissue surrounding the subluxated area are restored to a better state.

During the care sessions the patient will remain dressed.

Only during the Initial consult will the patient be required to undress. In order to perform a neuro-and orthopaedic examination, and whilst performing the Myovision scan.
